Responsibility and Society
This word means so much to some and so little to others. I personally have had a job for going on four years now. So I know a little something about responsibility, Don't come late, do your job, don't talk on your cell phone, etc. But recently there has been a very odd struggle going on in my mind about whether or not responsibility really matters among society anymore. All anyone really needs to do to get by is offer a sincere or a fake apology and most people take it. It sickens me to see how our society has declined so much in recent years. Most people don't care whether a person is incredibly smart or a complete idiot anymore. The whole world is based around a favoritism concept, If someone likes you or if you suck up to a "higher up" it will get you so much farther then actually being qualified for a given task. I see hundreds of people who I don't believe belong in our so called "Modern Society", But by some unknown reason they are still here. Now I'm not saying that everyone in the world isn't qualified, I'm saying that there are more qualified people that deserve better treatment.
Respect, Trust, and unspoken Courtesy
Many people forget that there are many things that should not be said in the presence of other people. Having been through many through many of these situations I have come to one final conclusion. If someone who is considered to be one of your good friends does not respect something you have repeatedly told them to listen to or respect you must tell them how you feel and if they are your true friends they will understand and change. But if these people do not understand and act hostile towards you, Then you must make a very important decision. Either forget about it or handle the situation no matter what the consequences may be. The idea of respect was originally created so that other people who have not met the individual that demands respect will be treated how they feel they should be treated, But now in present times respect has adapted to a new custom. Meeting someone for the first time you would treat them differently then you would someone you've known for years. In most cases people do not think about other peoples feelings because everyone has become so self-centered and they only care about themselves so much, That it is amazing that we still have the concepts of friends in our modern society...

Cost,Price,Money..Whatever You Want To Call It
the fact that these big cell phone companies charge outrageous amounts of money just so you can hae that five hundred something dollar phone that you have in your pocket is insane. I personally am going through a huge cellular change and am definentally paying for it. I used to have a blackberry curve 8330 with alltel which i had for atleast 7 months. I would pay 110 dollars a month for a my circle and possibly the worst internet service on the face of the earth. The only thing I liked was texting. Then I eventually made the move over to Sprint thinking it would be a lot better, Boy was I wrong. I got the Samsung Instinct, with the simply everything plan. The Instinct was a solid and decnt phone but lacked several things that could have made it great. A full screen browser and a more sensitive digitizer would easily make the phone more fun to text on. The most annoying thing about the phone is the infamous pocket calls.... The screen was conditioned to react with any touch not human finger touch controls. So several pocket calls and a look at the list of new phones I obtained an HTC Touch Pro. This was a very good solid phone everything on it was what I wanted but the only thing it lacked was stability. I dropped the phone twice and both times the outer screen cracked. It only took 2 more weeks and the lcd cracked the phoe was worthless and needless to say I flipped out. I am currently with AT&T and I have an iPhone and I am very suprised to say that this is my favorite phone that I have ever had..So in short go with AT&T and get a good phone and enjoy it.
Why??? (Respect Of Property)
What ever happened to people repsecting other people's property?? I have never seen a group of people that were so concerned about their possesions and did not care about other peoples "stuff". I mean as it sit here typing a new blog entry for my teacher,The keyboard limps on one leg and wobbles crazily. It is not that hard to be gentle with other peoples things. This brings me back to when I accidently put my whole arm through one of my good friends walls.....literally....and the first thing that I did after I pulled my arm from the what seemed like paper thin walls, apologized and offered to pay for it. When did everyone become so self-absorbed? When did the group of friends ever decide to go off and do things on their own without consulting anyone else who would care. To be honest I have gone off and done things that I do regret but I apologize after I do said things. But if one of your true friends cannot keep a promise to you are they truly worth being your "true friend"? But if I recall correctly the worst offense I've ever heard under these same circumstances was that one of my good friends broke my other friends laptop and did not pay for it claiming it was not his fault.....When in reality the point was that it broke while it was in your possession so you should fix it

Honesty and Truth
What ever happened to that one friend or your two friends that you could always count on in any situation? The truth is that the amount of trust you can have in anyone has decreased so much over the last few years. One day you could have a close friend, then the next day they could be your most violent and hated enemy. It only takes one truly bad situation for any given person to find out who their true friends are. Most of peoples so called "friends" will bail out on you in any situation where they see that they could get in just as much or more trouble than you. Another thing, What ever happened to never being honest with everybody, I know see that only 40% of what people say could be truth. Our society is so based on what other people will think of you and what other people care about, That most people lose their judgement along the way. Most people bend over backwards to try to please other people, When there is other people who truly don't care what people think of them. Never put faith in someone you know will let you down in the end, And once they let you down they will not be the one who is hurt......You will.
In All Honesty
What drives a person to commit suicide? Is it the only option left for the person or is it a cheap easy way out of a hard life? I've pondered this concept for years (Not saying I've wanted too). If wants nothing more than to be rid of the life that has been bestowed upon them like a gift. In the past I've known individuals who act as though this is the glorious easy button in life, If life gets too hard they decide "Well I can't take this anymore" and just like that a life is lost. The actions that certain people take in there lives are solely based on their wants, needs, and emotions. The person attempting to commit suicide is usually not concerned with those around them. If someone takes their own life, knowing they are moments away from death is that an honorable death? This is the question I was originally faced with when reading Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. The main character takes his own life knowing he is just moments from death, This was discussed multiple times during our class period. Most of the class yelling random garbled sentences about respect and honor. I personally think that suicide is giving up everything you have worked up to in life. But I'll stop rambling.

Late Night Homework.
I decided to do this post on my One Sentence Story.
It began A man finds a Pistol with 11 bullets in the clip.
The man ponders where he found the pistol, It finally struck him. He first caught glimpse of the pistol when he woke up the previous morning. A Hot, Humid and Hazy day. He awoke to the smell of burnt toast, But then quickly remembered that he was the only person staying in his 3 room small loft on the edge of Chicago. He placed each foot carefully on the old wooden floorboards, Making sure not to make any excess noise. He tread very carefully avoiding the particular floorboard towards the end of the hallway, That always creaked loudly and for what seemed like minutes. He drew the pistol from the hidden gun compartment in his wall. And turned the safety off. He aimed forward with both hands as he walked as a ninja in complete silence. He Peered into his kitchen and saw a strange man burning something in his over sized sink. It looked as though it was once living. He aimed the Pistol with perfect precision. And as he pulled the trigger, He was hit over the head with a baseball bat. He awoke later the next day to have been robbed of everything in his house. And had slight amnesia, He discovered he had amnesia when he forgot where the pull went. He gazed at his cabinet, To see a quarter sized hole in it....
